Only when all contribute their firewood can they build up a strong fire. - Chinese Proverb
The crocodile is only strong in the water.- Angolan Proverb
A thought struck
- how every one of us lets
something rule our day.
Usually it's our emotions.
We let fear, or anxiety,
or worry sit in the driver's seat
of our every waking thought.
Daily we are hindered by
an unseen force of doubt that tells us
we are not good enough or strong enough
or smart enough, or gorgeous enough
to make society's grade of success in life.
What about when I'm in such pain
I can't even think straight?
Yes. When I'm celebrating?
Yes. When I'm hurting?
Yes. When I have a job interview?
Yes. When I'm angry?
Yes. When I can't take one more step?
Yes. When I'm climbing life's mountains?
Yes~
Take a moment to soak in the glorious hope
we have in our Creator, always He is for us.
Lord wash away my fear,
my anxiety, and my worry.
They have no place in my life,
for I know that you are with me, always.
I stand on a promise today that
I can do all things with YOU .
So many things about our life are uncertain.
This one thing,however,
is sure: no matter where,
when, or how long,
God will be there
and will be with us and for us.
God stirs my courage through His help
makes be more bold
to withstand adversities.
being rooted and established in love
to grasp how wide and high
and deep is His love.
Love surpasses knowledge.
That's can be very difficult to explain,
but when you have loved your spouse
for decades and he or she is as close
to you as any bodily organ,
you experience what this means.
When you love a child and
do what you never dreamed
you could do for another human being,
you understand this phrase.

Here's a motto, just your fit ---
Laugh a little bit.
When you think you're trouble hit,
Laugh a little bit.
Look misfortune in the face,
Brave the beldam's rude grimace;
Ten to one "twill yield its place,
If you have the wit and grit
Just to laugh a little bit
Keep your face with sunshine lit,
Laugh a little bit.
